Principle of operation
This is a treatment process where hydrophilic polymers are firmly coated onto the surface of hydrophobic substrates. These hydrophilic polymers possess functional groups such as carboxyl, hydroxyl or amino groups, which can loosely bind water molecules. After this treatment, the substrate surface becomes easily wettable, allowing water or reagents to flow smoothly over it. Unlike traditional hydrophilic treatment methods, HydroLAST can impart durable hydrophilicity to the material, rather than a temporary effect.
Cutting-Edge Technical Support

| 「LubriMATRIX」
A surface hydrophilic surface treatment technology, independently developed and patented licensed from U.S. AST Products, Inc. This technology can lubricate the surfaces of medical devices across diverse clinical fields, adsorb and retain moisture, significantly reduce the surface friction resistance of medical devices, prevent severe abrasion between device surfaces and tissues/vessel walls, and enable the devices to deliver their optimal performance.
|
Principle of operation
Dynamic hydrogen bonding exists between the coating polymer matrix and the surrounding water molecules. Biocompatible hydrophilic polymers and the support network are entangled with each other, forming a hydrogel-like structure. When the hydrophilic coating comes into contact with water or body fluids, its surface exhibits excellent lubricity and hydrophilicity. Furthermore, it still maintains good coating integrity and lubricity even after multiple friction test cycles.
